Virtual Human Soccer

On this project I worked in a team of 5 as the only 2D artist.

I did all the art for the game; the concept art, UI, animations and characters.

Our task was to combine two or three Retro games into our own in Unity.

I wanted to go for a Retro feel inspired by 80s/90s pop-culture like cartoons and games. I wanted it to feel like the game was recorded on a VHS-tape having that typical video glitch effect.

These animations were designed to give feedback when you hit a radical score. Each player represents a character.

Depending on the number of times you get hit by the football the appearance of the character changes to give feedback on how much health you have left.
